JND’s Vice President of eDiscovery and Analytics, Ben Sexton, advises law firms, Fortune 500 companies, and government agencies in deploying the proper policy, process, and technology to meet discovery goals and reduce risk. He is responsible for all aspects of JND eDiscovery operations as well as strategic planning and client acquisition.
Ben is a leading voice on legal technology and big data, and an active speaker on technology-assisted review (TAR) related topics. He has conducted CLEs and spoken at numerous industry events, including Relativity Fest, ING3NIOUS, and the Women in eDiscovery (WiE) Innovation Conference. He has consulted on more than 200 hundred cases in the past 10 years and has been invited by several prominent law schools to consult on eDiscovery best practices.
Ben’s articles have appeared in Legaltech News, with recent publications including “The Role of ‘Gamesmanship’ in E-Discovery” (2018), “GDPR: Brave New World or Business as Usual for E-Discovery?” (2019), and “Coronavirus and E-Discovery: How COVID-19 is Testing Business Continuity for Service Providers” (2020). His perspective on document retrieval methodology and statistical validation was cited in “5 eDiscovery Best Practices by Industry Experts” (2020), published by Above the Law.
