Linus Chirchir is an experienced data analyst currently working at Research Data Scotland since September 2024, focusing on dataset feasibility assessments and preparation for integration into Scotland's National Safe Haven. Previously, as a health data analyst at the University of Edinburgh from September 2023 to June 2024, Linus optimised data processing efficiency and accessibility through SQL and R, while providing actionable insights from NHS datasets that benefitted over 700 patients. Linus has a substantial background as an ICT officer/researcher at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, where data analysis led to significant improvements in patient satisfaction and operational cost reductions.
