Max Kaps has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Max started their career in 2018 as a Construction Intern at Scandic Builders, where they gained hands-on experience in constructing modern, custom homes and also managed the company's website. In 2019, they worked as an Operations Intern at Power Design, Inc., where they assisted in purchasing and releasing materials, communicated with field personnel and vendors, and supported the project engineer in various tasks. In 2020, Max joined rand* construction corporation as a Project Intern and assisted in managing multiple projects, including processing submittals, setting up new projects, monitoring progress, and managing change orders. Currently, Max is working as a Project Engineer at John Moriarty & Associates, where they are responsible for various project-related tasks.

Max Kaps attended Virginia Tech from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management.
