John Montfort, EIT began their professional career as a Project Engineer Intern at PROTECS, LLC in 2018 and 2019. John gained experience in project engineering and interned at the same company again in 2021. In 2022, they joined John Moriarty & Associates as a Project Engineer.

Before transitioning into their engineering career, John worked in various roles. From 2012 to 2017, they were the Director at Morristown Parks and Recreation, where they supervised a team of counselors and managed administrative tasks. In 2016, they worked as a Stock Manager at Bottle King Liquors, responsible for stocking shelves and managing customer transactions. Lastly, they had a role in Delivery & Catering at The Godfather of Morristown from 2017 to 2018.

John Montfort, EIT, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science between 2016 and 2020. Before that, they graduated from Morristown High School in 2016, earning their High School Diploma. In terms of certifications, they obtained their Engineer In Training credential from the State of New Jersey in December 2020. Later, in December 2021, John obtained the OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification from ClickSafety.
