Christopher Broyles has a diverse work experience in the HVAC industry. Christopher started their career as an HVAC Apprentice at Complete HVAC in 1999 and later worked as an HVAC Technician at JK Mechanical from 2003 to 2005. Christopher then joined Trago Mechanical as an HVAC Technician from 2005 to 2007.
From 2007 to 2009, Christopher worked at UNICCO UGL SECURE SERVICES, INC. as a Building Management professional, where they provided facility services and maintenance for various buildings in the Verizon Telecom footprint.
In 2009, they joined SECCO Inc. as a Project Manager/Technical Service Advisor. In this role, they assisted the sales staff with system design and deployment, managed install crews and subcontractors, and provided technical support to install and service technicians. Christopher remained in this role until 2013.
After leaving SECCO Inc., Christopher joined H.B. McClure as a Commercial HVAC Mechanic from 2013 to 2015.
Currently, they are employed at JK Mechanical, Inc., where they have held multiple roles. Christopher started as a Commercial Service Department Lead Tech from 2015 to 2018. In this role, they managed commercial service technicians, set pricing for maintenance and repair quotes, and designed and installed building automation controls. Christopher then progressed to the role of Commercial Service Manager from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director Of Commercial Services, starting in October 2021.
Throughout their career, Christopher Broyles has gained expertise in HVAC installation, maintenance, and management, with a focus on commercial services and building automation controls.
Christopher Broyles attended West Virginia University from 1997 to 1999, where they pursued studies in engineering. During their education, they did not obtain a degree. On top of their academic background, Christopher also received various certifications in their field. In May 2017, they obtained the 30-hr Construction Safety and Health certification from OSHA. In February 2012, they became a NFPA 70E Qualified Person through Cocciardi and Associates, Inc. Additionally, Christopher obtained the HFC-410A Handling certification from Mainstream Engineering in November 2009. Christopher also holds the EPA 40CFR part 82 subpart F certification from the ESCO Institute, acquired in December 1999. Lastly, in August 2013, they completed the Fall Protection certification offered by DriveKore. Moreover, Christopher recently acquired multiple certifications from Procore Technologies in January 2023, including Procore Certification for Procore Administrator, Procore Certified for BIM Manager (Procore BIM), Procore Certified for Estimator, Procore Certified for Field Worker, Procore Certified for Project Manager (Core Tools), Procore Certified for Project Manager (Field Productivity), Procore Certified for Project Manager (Financial Management), Procore Certified for Project Manager (Project Management), Procore Certified for Project Manager (Quality & Safety), Procore Certified for Project Manager at Specialty Contractor (Preconstruction), Procore Certified for Project Manager at Specialty Contractor (Workforce Planning), Procore Certified for Subcontractor, and Procore Certified for Superintendent.
