Georgie Myers is a Senior Media and Communications Officer at Jisc, responsible for securing national media coverage and developing creative communication strategies, including podcasts and integrated campaigns. Previously, Georgie served as Deputy Head of Communications at Addaction, where notable achievements included extensive media coverage for a national campaign launch and enhanced engagement through social media management. Georgie has also worked in various research and production roles for television, including projects for the BBC and Channel 5, demonstrating strong skills in project management, stakeholder relations, and content creation. Georgie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Combined Honours in Spanish and Film Studies from the University of Exeter.
