Jason Thompson has a diverse work history, beginning with their role as a Sales Associate at Sears, Roebuck and Co. from November 1999 to August 2001. Jason consistently led the department in sales while working in various sales departments. Following their time at Sears, they joined Power's Exteriors as an Apprentice from March 2000 to August 2002, and then transitioned into the role of Crew Lead from August 2002 to January 2004. During this time, they were responsible for replacing and repairing roofs and siding for residential and commercial properties, coordinating a crew of 1 to 4 people. In 2004, Jason joined Motorola Mobility as a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer, where they remained until September 2016. Jason then joined Jiobit in November 2016 as a Senior Mechanical Architect/Engineer and currently holds the position of Head of Supply Chain, starting in February 2021.

Jason Thompson attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
