Willow Sokora's work experience includes several roles in the technology industry.
Willow is currently employed at Life360 as an iOS Engineer, starting in March 2022.
Prior to that, they worked at Apple as a Software Development Engineer in Test, starting in June 2020 and ending in February 2022. In this role, they developed automated testing for new features and built automation infrastructure.
Before joining Apple, Willow Sokora co-founded and served as a Lead Software Engineer at Spectra from October 2018 to June 2020. Willow developed a cross-platform application to aggregate and translate news from around the world.
From January 2018 to May 2020, they worked as the Head Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Willow assisted with redesigning the IT curriculum, managed other teaching assistants, and worked one on one with students.
Willow also had experience as an iOS Engineering Intern at Citi in the summer of 2019, where they developed proof of concepts and provided analysis for login/authentication issues in the Citi mobile app.
Outside of the technology industry, Willow Sokora worked as a Lead Counselor at Camp Emeth from May 2015 to August 2017, planning activities and teaching campers to swim. Willow also briefly worked as a Web Developer at Preferred Family Healthcare in 2015.
Willow Sokora obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Willow attended the university from 2017 to 2020. In November 2019, Willow also earned a certification as a Triplebyte certified iOS Engineer from Triplebyte.
