Thomas Cullee Mayes, Jr. is an experienced litigation attorney currently employed at Jim Adler & Associates since May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Trial Attorney/Team Lead at Daspit Law Firm, where management of over 80 cases and mentorship of junior attorneys were key responsibilities. Mayes has also held the position of State Director/National Projects Manager at Advanced Micro Targeting, overseeing political management and communication consulting services. With a strong legal background, Mayes founded Calamus Gladio Fortior & Mayes Law Firm, transitioning from a political consulting firm to a law practice upon licensure. A portfolio of legal projects includes representation in national opioid litigation, drafting municipal charters, and serving as assistant city attorney for six Texas cities. Additionally, Mayes has substantial political consulting experience, advising on various campaigns and initiatives. Earlier career roles include Chief of Staff for Bexar County and the City of San Antonio, as well as a lecturer at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Mayes holds a JD from Southern Methodist University and a BA from Texas Tech University.
