Elderi Bennett-Horak has been working in the Quality Assurance field since 2012. In 2012, they began working at K2 as an Assistant Project and Quality Manager. In this role, they developed BPM applications based on client's business rules, functional requirements and deadlines. Elderi also organized and conducted regular meetings with clients about status updates, business requirements and bug fixes within and after UAT. Additionally, they successfully developed and tested an eLeave and eClaim application and deployed it to UAT and Production. In 2013, they took on the role of QA Team Lead at K2. In this role, they led and mentored their QA team of 10 members through multiple software release cycles. Elderi also managed more than one project at a time to reach product owner demands on time and ensured that quality and accuracy was maintained throughout every release cycle. In 2018, they began working at Major League Sports Academy as a Sports Coach. In this role, they were a netball, touch rugby and soccer coach for kindergarten to secondary school kids, as well as adults at club level. Elderi also managed students (and parents) that consisted of 11 teams and +-200 players, as well as 5 part-time coaches. Elderi planned training modules for each semester as well as session plans for each day, for each age group. In 2020, they began working at Designware as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist. In this role, they created processes for the application system development life cycle. Elderi also did research to find the best automation tool that suited DesignWare's needs and developed automated tests for functional and API testing. Most recently, in 2021, they began working at jigx as a Quality Assurance Lead.

Elderi Bennett-Horak has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit, obtained between 2008 and 2011. Elderi also holds certifications from iSQI GmbH (iSQI Scrum Master Pro, obtained in April 2018), K2 (K2 Blackpearl Certification and K2 for SharePoint Certification, obtained in October 2017, and K2 Smartforms Certification, obtained in November 2013), and ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB Foundation Level, obtained in February 2013).
