Jakub Masri is an experienced professional specializing in international finance and sustainability. Currently serving as an International Finance Specialist and EU Project Manager at JIC since August 2022, Jakub evaluates clients' business plans, particularly for Horizon Europe, engages with potential clients, and identifies international grant opportunities. Prior to this role, Jakub worked as an ESG Consultant at PwC Czech Republic, helping financial institutions navigate risks and opportunities related to sustainability. Jakub's career also includes positions as a trainee focused on interregional cooperation, an English language tutor, a project assistant addressing food waste, a freelance writer on climate change and sovereignty, and a business developer. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Sustainability Science from Lund University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Management from IMC Krems University.
