Raul A. Salazar, Ph.D. CFI, has extensive work experience in the technology and education fields. Raul A. began their career in 1993 as Chief Technology Officer of JHL Technologies, where they successfully launched a start-up company with venture capital funding and created a patent pending “System for in-store coupon distribution and redemption.” In 2018, they became an FAA Certified Flight Instructor, Online Course developer, and Ground Instructor for Blades Over Me, LLC, and an Adjunct Professor for Florida Institute of Technology. Raul A. has also been an Adjunct Professor for Nova Southeastern University's College of Engineering and Computing since 1998, where they have taught undergraduate Computer Sciences, and Information Systems courses, as well as developed and taught courses to teachers, instructors and professors on how to teach programming and software development. Since 2009, they have been the Principal of Green Virtual Solutions, where they have designed, developed, and implemented a variety of IOS Objective-C code, secure protocol communication, SavvyPenny Network, C++ socket client/server class library, C++ POS simulator, QA test cases, Monitoring System, and SavvyPenny in the BOX.
Raul A. Salazar, Ph.D. CFI, obtained their Master of Science from Nova Southeastern University, followed by their Ph.D. from the same university. Raul A. also holds certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration, including FAASTeam Drone Pro for the Orlando FSDO, FAASTeam Lead Representative for Vero Beach FAASTeam, Private Pilot - Helicopter and Gyroplane, Small Unmanned Aircraft System - Remote Pilot, and Sport Pilot Certified Flight Instructor - Gyroplane.
