Stephen Katz has extensive experience in leadership and program management within both religious and youth services organizations. Since 1989, Katz has served as Chief of Staff at Jews for Jesus, focusing on strategic planning, policy-writing, team building, and recruitment while also overseeing operations in the USA and Canada. Katz has previously held various positions within Jews for Jesus, including North American Director and DC Director, where responsibilities included supervising staff, planning events, and teaching Bible studies. Prior to this, Katz worked as Program Director at Lawrence Hall Youth Services, managing treatment plans for youth and supervising staff in a residential treatment facility. Katz holds a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies and Jewish Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work degrees from the University of Illinois.
