Susan L. Braunstein is a distinguished art historian and curator, currently serving as Senior Curator Emerita at The Jewish Museum since January 2019. Previously, Susan Braunstein held the position of Curator of Archaeology and Judaica at the same institution and worked as a curatorial assistant at The Brooklyn Museum from 1972 to 1980. Susan Braunstein holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Art History and Archaeology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish Language and Literature from Brooklyn College.
