Dr. Callesen has served as Chief Medical Officer here at JFCS since 1999. Dr. Callesen completed his Adult Psychiatric Residency Training at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine and completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Callesen is Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Psychiatry as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Callesen has been practicing Psychiatry for well over 25 years. Dr. Callesen has a special interest in helping Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD as well as Bipolar Affective Disorders. Dr. Callesen is a Member of the Executive Leadership Team, provides supervision and Consultation to the Medical Staff and continues to provide Psychiatric care for our clients here at JFCS.
