Jessie Smith has extensive work experience in IT and facilities management. Starting in 1988 as a Telecommunications/Systems Technician in the US Army, followed by roles in IT and management at Aerotek, Compel, and ValueOptions. In 2007, Jessie became a Consultant before moving on to the position of Director Of Information Technology & Facilities at Jewish Family & Children's Service of Arizona in 2020. Additionally, worked as a Consultant at RID Ventures, LLC in 2009.

Jessie Smith completed a Bachelor of Science in IT with a focus on Network Security from the University of Phoenix in 2009. In 2011, Smith pursued a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from the same institution.
