Chris Catone

Performing Arts Music Director at JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER OF GREATER PITTSBURGH

Chris Catone is an accomplished musician, composer, and educator with extensive experience in various roles within the music industry. As the owner of Bad Curve Music since June 2012, Chris has also contributed to the academic field as an adjunct professor at both the University of Pittsburgh and Community College of Allegheny County. Additional positions include Associate Director of Music and Organist at Saint Paul Cathedral, and Performing Arts Music Director at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh. Chris has a strong background in performance, having served as a Resident Artist and Pianist for Pittsburgh Musical Theater, and has provided guest lectures at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. Previous technical roles include serving as a score technical engineer for renowned composer Junkie XL and as a music copyist for David Stock. Chris holds a Master of Music in Music Technology - Composition from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology from Northeastern University.
