Marea Ludwig is an experienced swim coach and instructor currently working at The Shaw JCC of Akron since January 2024 and also serving as a Portage DD independent provider since July 2022. Marea has held multiple coaching positions, including a soccer coach and T-Ball site coordinator at Ravenna Parks and Recreation since September 2023, and has been involved with the Portage County Special Olympics as a head soccer coach and assistant swim coach from November 2020 to June 2023. Previous roles include safety and swim instructor at TrioSafety/GoRescue, an AHA BLS instructor at Maplewood Career Center, and a water aerobics swim instructor at Alliance YMCA. Marea's educational background includes an Associate of Science degree from Kent State University and certification in emergency management training from Cuyahoga Community College.
