Ana Ramos-Hernandez

SVP, Technology, Evaluation, & Data Analytics at JEVS Human Services

Ana Ramos-Hernandez is a highly-accomplished, results-driven leader and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in data science, consulting, and technology development. She has demonstrated expertise in both start-ups and mature enterprises and proven success in implementing and upgrading technological, data, and business processes, as well as recruiting, retaining, and managing teams of data scientists, software developers, IT systems engineers, and support staff.

Prior to her coming to JEVS, Ana was the Deputy Chief for Performance Management and Technology for the Philadelphia Office of Children and Families, which includes the Philadelphia Department of Human Services (DHS), Parks and Recreation, Early Childhood Education, Adult Education, and Out-of-School Time Programs. A devotee of all things data, she is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the child welfare case management system, the provision and maintenance of IT for the entire office, cyber security, and 20 years of warehoused DHS data.

As a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, she received the Fels Performance Measurement Award for using data to help guide nonprofit organizations and corporate social responsibility programs. Earlier, in her native Colombia, she founded a company that serves the staffing needs of U.S. technology companies.

She is a long-time resident of South Philadelphia, where she lives with her family.
