Stephan King has worked in the software engineering industry since 2000. Stephan'scareer began at Plumtree Software, where they worked as a Product Specialist from 2000 to 2003. From 2003 to 2009, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at FM Global. Stephan then moved on to InQuest Technologies as a Software Engineer, followed by Astonish Results as a Software Engineer. From 2010 to 2011, they worked at Millennium Consulting as a Consultant and at GE Intelligent Platforms as a Software Development Manager and Lead Software Engineer. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at GE Digital as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Senior Manager. In 2018, they joined DraftKings Inc. as a Technical Lead. Most recently, they worked at Citizens from 2019 to 2021, where they held the role of Software Engineering Manager and Vice President, leading API leadership for new mobile applications and SRE practices.

Stephan King obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from Brown University between 2007 and 2010. In 2016, they received a Predix Certified Developer certification from GE Digital. In 2021, they earned an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
