Sander Leenders is an experienced medical microbiologist with a career spanning over two decades. Since November 1998, Sander has held the position of Arts Microbioloog at Dienstverband and at Jeroen Bosch Ziekenhuis since January 1999, also serving as Medisch Manager for the Regional Laboratory of Medical Microbiology and Infection Prevention, with a break from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, Sander has worked at Ziekenhuis Bernhoven since January 2006. Educational qualifications include a PhD in medical microbiology from Erasmus University Rotterdam (1991-1999), an MD in medicine from Utrecht University (1983-1991), and a VWO from Pleincollege St. Joris (1977-1983), complemented by earlier education at Willakkers Basisschool in Eindhoven.
