Benny Karlsson has a diverse work experience in various financial roles. Benny started their career as an FX Specialist and Cash Management at Första AP-fonden (AP1) in 2006 and then served as the Head of Middle Office at Credit Agricole Cheuvreux from 2007 to 2013. Benny briefly worked as a Project Manager at Kepler Cheuvreux in 2013 before joining Skandia as a Risk Analyst Treasury from 2015 to 2016. Benny then moved on to Lantmännen as a Treasury Controller from 2016 to 2018. Benny joined Ahlstrom-Munksjö in 2018 as a Treasury Front Office/Cash Manager and later transitioned to Jernhusen AB, where they held the positions of Senior Finance & Real Estate Controller and currently serves as the Head of Treasury/Finansansvarig.

Benny Karlsson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General from Stockholm University, which they completed from 2000 to 2002. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Strategic Management at Lund University, which they completed from 2003 to 2005. Furthermore, Benny obtained another Master's degree in Financial Management from Uppsala University in 2014. Lastly, in 2014, they also studied Business law at Stockholm University.
