Alyssa De Pinto is an experienced science educator currently teaching 8th Grade Earth Science at Jericho School District since August 2020, along with High School Discrete Chemistry. Prior to this role, Alyssa served as a science teacher at Commack Middle School, instructing 7th grade Physical Science and 8th grade Regents Living Environment within the MYP framework, and worked in various capacities within the Rocky Point Union Free School District, including the iCare program and as a Leave Replacement Teacher for Living Environment Honors and Science Research. Alyssa's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Geoscience from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology Adolescence Education from Marist College. Experience also includes teaching at Hauppauge School District and serving as a tutor at Sylvan Learning Centers.
