John Haftman is a Design Engineer at Jergens Inc. since November 2019, specializing in new product development, including custom component manufacture, procurement, logistics, assembly, and testing. Experience includes developing CAD and CAM programs for prototypes using traditional machining and additive manufacturing techniques. Prior to this role, John worked as a Research Assistant and Laboratory Coordinator at Ohio University's Russ College of Engineering, focusing on seismic protection systems and overseeing advanced machining equipment. John's career began as a Store Supervisor at Goody's Department Store, where responsibilities included managing sales associates and improving store layout. John holds a Master of Science in Individual Interdisciplinary Program from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology and Management from the same institution, along with academic experience at Appalachian State University.
