Satoshi Yajima is an experienced executive in the energy sector, currently serving as Chairman at JERA Nex since April 2024 and as Senior Managing Executive Officer at JERA Co., Inc. since June 2016. Prior to these roles, Satoshi Yajima held various managerial positions, including Manager of the International Business Department at Tokyo Electric Power Company from March 2002 to May 2016, and Manager of Business Development at Enron from September 1999 to December 2001. Satoshi Yajima also contributed to power business development at Marubeni Corporation from April 1990 to August 1999. Educationally, Satoshi Yajima earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Waseda University between 1986 and 1990.
