Virginia Brambila Velázquez

Lead Back-End Developer at Jelp app

Virginia Brambila Velázquez has held two positions in the software development industry. From 2018 to present, they have been the Lead Back-End Developer at Jelp Delivery, where they are responsible for efficiently translating customer's needs into software solutions, identifying and executing tasks in the software development life cycle, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with the team to brainstorm and create new features or improvements in the software. Virginia also has expertise in API services, distributed systems, databases (SQL and NoSQL), REST, HTTP, OAuth2, and developing using AWS cloud patterns. Prior to this role, they were an Analyst - Software Developer at HITSS from 2016 to 2018, where they were responsible for analysis and programming, designing and developing security applications projects in Java EE, IBM DB2 and PostgreSQL database, Bootstrap, JQuery, Javascript and CSS. Virginia also prepared documentation and presented progress reports to customers, and was partially responsible for the development of the OCR System for the identification and treatment of images of the PROPOFIT insurer.

Virginia Brambila Velázquez obtained their Masters in Software Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica Latinoamericana en Línea in 2021. Prior to this, they earned their degree in Information Technology Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica de Morelia between 2011 and 2015.
