Carola York

VP, Publishing at Jellyfish

Carola York is the Vice President of Publishing at Jellyfish. Carola has been with the company since June 2012 and in their current role for just over two years. In this role, Carola is responsible for creating innovative solutions for publishers globally using Jellyfish's digital capabilities in media, analytics, data science, customer experience, creative, technology and training. Carola also builds strategic partnerships with key technology providers, including Google and Facebook.

Prior to their current role, Carola was the Circulation & Marketing Director at The Spectator from November 2009 to June 2012. Before that, they were the Marketing Director at EMAP from April 2008 to November 2009.

Carola has extensive experience in the publishing industry and has been instrumental in helping publishers grow their advertising and reader revenues through digital marketing, data development and digital transformation.

Carola York attended Durham University, where they studied geography, and Charterhouse School.

A direct report to Carola York is and David Toon - Head of uOpen. Their manager is Sharon Harris, Chief Marketing Officer. They are on a team with Shane Smith - VP, Creative Production, Tania Barr - VP, Brand Planning, and Robert Philbin - VP, Earned Media.
