Gretchen Hirt Gendron, APR, currently serves as the Public Information Officer for Jefferson Parish Government since January 2020. With extensive experience in public relations and communications, Gendron held various roles at Gambel Communications from June 2012 to January 2020, including Director of Public Relations and Senior Communications Strategist. Prior experience includes managing front of house operations at Impastatos Saints Suite & Restaurant, and serving as a Communications and Marketing Intern for the American Cancer Society. Gendron also contributed to theatrical productions at Loyola University New Orleans as a Producer, Director, and Stage Manager. Gendron earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Public Relations from Loyola University New Orleans and obtained Accreditation in Public Relations from the Universal Accreditation Board between 2017 and 2018.
