Ashley Rouchard is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in special education and reading instruction. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Jefferson County Schools, WV, since July 2023, Rouchard previously held positions as a Reading Specialist at Frederick County Public Schools and a 1st Grade Teacher at Loudoun County Public Schools. Rouchard has a proven track record of implementing Orton Gillingham reading instruction, resulting in significant improvements in student reading comprehension and fluency. With a Master of Education in Reading from Averett University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Mount St. Mary's University, Rouchard has effectively developed and designed engaging lessons across various subjects, fostering student engagement and achievement throughout a diverse teaching career.
