Bruce Spiegler currently serves as the Head of Regulatory Affairs and Managing Director at Jefferies, a position held since September 2013. Prior to this, Bruce worked at Citi for over a decade as an Operational Risk Manager and Director, as well as a Compliance Officer. Bruce's earlier experience includes serving as an Enforcement Attorney at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) from 2000 to 2003, and a Divisional Vice President/Counsel at PaineWebber Inc. from 1998 to 2000. Bruce began a solo practice and worked in a small firm as an Attorney from 1994 to 1998, and served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney's Office from 1991 to 1994. Educationally, Bruce attained a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Cornell University.
