Jim McKenney is an experienced educator currently serving as the Director of Family and Community Partnerships at Jeffco Public Schools in Colorado since July 2021. Prior to this role, Jim held various positions at Denver Public Schools from July 2013 to July 2021, including School Principal and Assistant Principal at DCIS at Ford Elementary School. Additionally, Jim served as an Assistant Principal and Dean at NYC DOE from July 2007 to July 2013, where responsibilities included discipline and safety for a K-5 Elementary school. Jim's educational qualifications include a Colorado Initial Principals License from the University of Denver (2014-2015), a Master's degree in Urban Education and Leadership from Mercy University (2007-2009), and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Purchase College, SUNY (2004-2006).
