Jared Hamrick

Process Engineer at Jedson Engineering

Jared Hamrick started their professional career in 2018 as a Land Sports Guide at the U.S. National Whitewater Center. Jared then gained experience as a Process Engineer: Super Co-Op at Domtar in 2019, where they conducted tests and analysis, managed trial data, assisted with trials, repaired testing machines, and mastered various mill programs. In 2020, they interned as a Process Engineer at Domtar and served as a Pre-Editor at BioResources Journal. In 2021, they interned as a Process Engineer at International Paper, where they investigated dump cycles and proposed water usage reduction. Jared also interned as a Process Engineer: Intern at Ford, Bacon & Davis, LLC. In 2022, they worked as a Process Specialist at S & B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd. Currently, in 2023, they hold the position of a Process Engineer at Jedson Engineering.

Jared Hamrick began their education in 2017 at North Carolina State University. Jared pursued a Bachelor's degree in Paper Science and Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Jared completed their studies in both fields in 2022. In addition to their academic pursuits, Jared obtained several certifications. In May 2022, they received an Engineer In Training certification from NCEES. In July 2021, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from International Paper. Moreover, in October 2019, they acquired CPR & AED certification from the Health & Safety Institute (HSI).
