Shwetha Shankam began their work experience as an intern at Lintas in December 2007, where they worked until January 2008. In 2008, they joined Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd as a Trainee Sub-Editor for a brief period. In October 2011, Shwetha joined Jean Martin as an HR Associate and is currently employed there.
Shwetha Shankam completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from St Aloysius College in Mangalore from 2003 to 2006. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Communication Management at Manipal Academy of Higher Education from 2006 to 2008.
