Adam Barnes is an experienced maritime professional with a diverse background in leadership and operations within the marine and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as Service Manager for JDR Cable Systems in the US-Renewables division, Adam leads a team for the Vineyard Wind inter array cables termination and testing work. Previous roles include Chief Mate at Transocean during the construction of the Deepwater Atlas drillship, Facilities Manager at Channel Fish Processing, and Captain/OIM at Seadrill, where Adam oversaw vessel operations, ensured regulatory compliance, and maintained client relations. Adam's early experience includes significant contributions to marine operations and safety during the Macondo incident while serving as Sr DPO and Chief Mate at Transocean. Adam holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
