Edwin X. Sánchez has over 20 years of experience in sales and consulting. Edwin X. began their career in 1993 as a Regional Sales Manager at Oxford Health Plans, where they managed District Managers and Sales Reps in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Edwin X. was responsible for individual and group cases related to the enrollment and/or conversion of Medicaid coverage, and developed and implemented sales and marketing strategies to acquire new customers and retain existing members.
In 1997, Edwin joined Xerox as a Global Sales Manager. Edwin X. was in charge of managing terms and conditions for all new contracts within the United States, and was involved in meetings with primary decision makers, as well as state and local, federal, major accounts, graphic arts, higher education, K-12, financial institutions, legal, and healthcare industry personnel. Edwin achieved the President's Club and Par Clubs and earned the Xerox Achievement Award in 2007, 2008, and 2009 as the top 1 Global Sales Team in the Eastern Region. Edwin X. also received the "Beacon of Light" award for exemplary performance, and demonstrated keen expertise in growing billings from $20M to $52M within three years of operations.
In 2009, Edwin joined Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Federal Consultant. Edwin X. was part of a two-person sales team that delivered an annual increase of 200% corporate revenue from $16M to $32M, as well as boosting revenue and market share by 8% in the first year of service. Edwin X. consulted with HP business partners to implement a new fully-managed printing solution, Extream ArchSight software (SIEM, SAP, SAAS, Stealth Solutions). Edwin X. also played a key business-partner role by facilitating high-level meetings with Tier One System Integrator companies.
In 2011, Edwin became a Professional Sales Consultant, providing Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Consulting and leveraging their 20 years of practical experience building revenue streams, high-performing sales teams, and go-to-market strategies for Fortune 1000 companies across multiple industries.
In 2016, Edwin joined JDL Group as Director of Sales & Channels. Edwin X. was in charge of Sales, Marketing & Channels Globally, and was responsible for building profitable sales teams and channels to establish the company as subject matter experts within the industry. Edwin X. also provided strategic consulting, including business plan and sales strategy development.
Edwin X. Sánchez obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College (CUNY). Edwin X. also holds certifications from Xerox, including a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt obtained in April 2007, as well as certifications from Avaya, including APDS Scopia Solution, APSS - Avaya Contact Center Solutions for IP Office, APSS - Avaya Scopia Solution, APSS - Networking, and APSS - SME Communications, all obtained in April 2015.
