Kevin Metcalf is an experienced educator and coach with a career spanning over three decades at North Rockland Central School District since May 1989, where Kevin teaches US History and participates as a consultant teacher. As the modified boys soccer and baseball coach, and social studies chairperson for grades 7-12, Kevin has significantly contributed to the school’s athletic programs. Since September 2009, Kevin has served as the head coach for the girls' varsity basketball team, achieving multiple undefeated league championships and receiving accolades such as League Coach of the Year and the Section 1 Coach of the Year in 2016. Additional roles include working as a youth sports counselor at JCC Rockland and the summer camp director for the Village of West Haverstraw, while also officiating boys' basketball and soccer in New York State. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Sciences and a Master of Science in Special Education. Kevin also has experience as an adjunct professor and served as the president of the Basketball Coaches Association of New York from 2022 to 2024.
