Melissa Chapman has had an extensive career in the non-profit sector, primarily working in various leadership roles for Jewish organizations. Melissa served as the Chief Executive Officer of JCC East Bay from September 2019 to the present. Prior to that, they were the Chief Development Officer at the Jewish Federation of San Diego County from July 2016 to August 2019. From May 2011 to June 2016, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at The Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region. Melissa began their career at the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, where they served as Assistant Vice President, Campaign from 1998 to May 2011.
Melissa Chapman attended Francis W. Parker School from 1988 to 1994. Following high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Writing at Knox College from 1994 to 1998.
