Oscar Mendez has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Oscar is currently working as a Senior Project Accountant at JBG SMITH since June 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Deloitte as an Audit & Assurance In-Charge from May 2022 to June 2023 and as a Senior Audit Assistant from September 2020 to May 2022. Oscar also had an internship with Deloitte as an Audit Intern from January 2020 to March 2020.

Before joining Deloitte, Oscar worked as a Server/Bartender at Woodmont Golf and Country Club from May 2017 to January 2020. Oscar also gained experience in the finance industry by interning at UBS as a Wealth Management Intern from February 2018 to August 2018, and at Deloitte as an Audit Intern from June 2019 to August 2019.

Oscar Mendez pursued their education starting from 2015 to 2017 at Montgomery College, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Oscar then proceeded to continue their studies at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 2017 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a focus on Accounting.
