Kanisha Mitchell, MAcc, has a range of work experience in accounting and auditing roles. Kanisha is currently employed as a Senior Project Accountant at JBG SMITH. Prior to this, they worked at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) as a Senior Assurance Associate from November 2020 to August 2021, and as an Assurance Associate from July 2018 to October 2020. Kanisha also completed an internship as an Audit Intern at KPMG from January 2018 to March 2018.

Kanisha Mitchell, MAcc, holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the William & Mary - Raymond A. Mason School of Business (2017-2018). Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Accounting from Norfolk State University (2012-2016). Additionally, in April 2017, they earned the Fundamental Payroll Certification from Pearson VUE.
