Matt Carollo has a wealth of experience in the retail industry. Matt began their career in 2003 as a Sales Associate at Shelby's Treasures, where they researched the history of antiques and set up store displays and cases. In 2005, they moved to Francie's Traditional Designs as a Sales Associate, where they oversaw many aspects of the store, including buying decisions, visual displays, and customer assistance. In 2008, they joined Restoration Hardware as a Sales Associate, providing customer service and assisting designers and clients on the sales floor. In 2010, they began working at Jayson Home, where they held various roles, such as Buyer, Catalog Producer/Photo Stylist, Retail Store Manager, Assistant Buyer, Buyers Assistant, and Intern. Most recently, in 2019, they joined CB2 as a Product Merchant.

Matt Carollo attended The Art Institutes from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Interior Design.
