Shen Lu has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at AOL since 2010, a Mobile Developer at Yahoo! since 2013, a Staff Software Engineer at Tinder since 2016, and a Staff Software Engineer at JAXJOX since 2021. At JAXJOX, Shen re-architected and re-designed the entire app for the 3.0 release.

Shen Lu attended Virginia Tech from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in both Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
