Shawn Lance is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Jarrell High School since August 2022. Previously, Shawn held the position of Head of High School at Gateway College Preparatory School from August 2018 to October 2021 and worked as an English Teacher at Legacy Early College High School from August 2012 to August 2018. Relevant expertise includes lesson creation and implementation, preparation of students for college-level writing, and guidance for passing key assessments such as the Texas Success Initiative, STAAR, SAT, and ACT. Additionally, Shawn served as Chief Scoring Leader at Educational Testing Service from April 2015 to June 2017.
