Mohammad Ali serves as a Director in the Electrical Department at JB&B. Since joining the firm in 2007, he has worked as a Project Manager or Project Engineer on projects such as high-rise office and residential buildings, hospitality venues, airports, and educational facilities.
JB&B utilized Mr. Ali’s experience to complete work on premier educational facilities, such as New York Law School’s new community facility, campus renovation, and Worth Street expansion. Mr. Ali also conducted the generator replacement study for NYU Langone Health’s Old Public Health Building and NBC Universal at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. His expertise has been essential to the completion of JB&B work on high-profile cultural projects such as the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Visitor Center. Mr. Ali has also been involved in the construction and renovation of office buildings, such as the fire alarm upgrade to 180 Varick Street, the 32nd Floor fit-out for MetLife at 200 Park Avenue, Cornell Tech’s Tata Innovation Center, and the base building design for One World Trade Center. His work at the World Trade Center site also involved the fire alarm integration effort, including the implementation of a building-to-building intercom system and design of the fire alarm system IP-based remote annunciators, vehicular RFID system, and integration between adjacent buildings.
Mr. Ali received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering in 2007. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
