Jean Paul Jarnias is the founder and president of Groupe Jarnias, a position held since November 1993. Prior to this, Jean Paul worked as an independent high mountain guide from January 1985 to January 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master 2 (M2) in Finance from IAE France (2014-2015), a Guide de Haute Montagne degree from Ecole Nationale de Ski et d'Alpinisme (1984-1987), and a Brevet d'État second dégré in Ski Nordique from Centre National de Ski Nordique et de Moyenne Montagne (1983-1986). Additionally, Jean Paul studied at the Faculté de Médecine de Grenoble (1977-1979) and obtained a Baccalauréat in Mathematics from Lycée Édouard Herriot (1974-1977).
