Manager Of Youth And Teacher Programs at Japanese American National Museum

Sohayla Pagano currently serves as the Manager of Youth and Teacher Programs and previously held the role of Education Specialist at the Japanese American National Museum, where responsibilities include managing the school visits program engaging 15,000 students annually and overseeing volunteer training in museum education. Previous experience includes positions at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and ESMoA, focusing on participatory learning experiences and educational program development. At the Ohio History Connection, Sohayla managed educational outreach programs, coordinated professional development for educators, and contributed to strategic planning and grant writing. Additional roles include program facilitation at the Columbus Museum of Art and Urban Arts Space, as well as teaching experience at The Ohio State University. Sohayla holds a Master of Arts in Art Education from The Ohio State University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Architecture and Art History from Penn State University.
