Itsuko Hirai is an experienced professional in the entertainment industry with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as a Golden Globes Voter for the Golden Globes Association and a Film Curator for JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles. In addition to holding membership positions with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and the Hollywood Critics Association, Itsuko has contributed as an LA Correspondent for Movie Walker, where responsibilities include editing and writing articles, conducting interviews, and attending major film festivals. With a background in public diplomacy as a former Vice Consul at the Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles, Itsuko has managed cultural promotion initiatives and coordinated significant diplomatic events. Itsuko's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Meiji University and studies at prestigious institutions such as UCLA and New York University. Fluent in English and a native of Japanese, Itsuko has multi-cultural experience, having been born in Tokyo and raised in various Southeast Asian cities.
