Kazutaka Nagaoka has extensive work experience in the display technology industry. KAZUTAKA is currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer at Japan Display Inc. since August 2021. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Japan Display Inc., including Chief Manufacturing Officer from June 2020 to May 2021, Executive Officer from October 2019 to June 2020, Chief Technology Officer from April 2018 to September 2019, and Chief Business Officer from July 2015 to March 2018. Additionally, Nagaoka served as the Chairperson of the JEITA Display Device council from July 2018 to March 2020.

Kazutaka Nagaoka completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electronic Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1987. KAZUTAKA also obtained the certification of Professional Engineer (Electricity and electrical engineering) from the institution of professional engineers, Japan in May 2001.
