Chikara Inoue has extensive work experience in the field of trade compliance and management. Chikara began their career in 1993 at Kyushu Matsushita Electric Co., Ltd., where they worked in the Corporate Overseas Operation Division. In 1995, they moved to the Legal Department of the same company, where they stayed until 2000. In 2000, they joined Sony Corporation as an Assistant Manager in the Trade Affairs & Export Administration Department. Chikara later became the Manager of the Trade/Trade Compliance department in the Business Control Department of Sony EMCS Corporation. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Manager in the Planning Section of the Compliance Department at Sony Supply Chain Solutions Inc. In 2013, Inoue joined Japan Display Inc. as the Senior Manager of the Trade Compliance Section, eventually becoming the Assistant to the General Counsel for Trade Compliance. In 2020, they briefly worked as the EYTAX Indirect Tax Manager at EY before returning to Japan Display Inc. as the Assistant to the General Counsel for Trade Compliance.
Chikara Inoue attended Waseda University from 1989 to 1993, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Chikara specialized in the field of Political Science and Economics at the School of Political Science and Economics. In terms of additional certifications, Chikara obtained the "EY Analytics - Data Visualization - Learning" certification from EY in November 2020. In 2014, they obtained a TOEIC855 certification. Additionally, Chikara obtained a TOEIC880 certification in 1997 and an "英検準1級" certification from the "日本英語検定協会" in 1990.
