Satoshi Onishi is a seasoned finance and risk management professional, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Risk Management at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation since June 2021, focusing on ESG and climate risk management. With prior experience as the Director for International Coordination in the Trade Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Satoshi Onishi has expertise in economic security, statecraft, and geopolitics. Previous roles at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation include Director of Project Finance for PetroChemical and Corporate Finance for Manufacturing, as well as Deputy Director positions in Corporate Planning and Telecommunication Finance.
