Ahren Bonnema is an experienced design professional with a robust background in the outdoor and urban apparel sectors. Currently serving as Design Manager at JanSport since July 2018, Bonnema previously worked at VF Corporation for over a decade in various design roles, culminating in Designer B. Responsibilities included collaborating with key brands and preparing presentations. Earlier positions at VF Corporation included Designer C, focusing on the outdoor and urban pack categories, and Assistant Designer, managing the Trans by JanSport line, among others. Bonnema began the career with internships at Swobo Bicycles and Apparel, where innovative urban cycling apparel was developed, and at Chrome Industries, contributing to the design of a laptop bag. Education includes a BS in Fashion Design from The Art Institutes and attendance at Lincoln High School.
